 Lead In: Egyptian angry crowds gathered Infront of the Algerian embassy demanding the departure of the Algerian ambassador as a civilized pay back to what the Algerians did to the Egyptians in Sudan.

A pivotal soccer match in Sudan between rivals Egypt and Algeria is having diplomatic repercussion. After Egypt’s loss, witnesses say that Algerians attacked Egyptians attending the game, leaving them humilated. Voice over: Photos of Algerians holding knives, throwing rocks at Egyptian buses, burning the  Egyptian flag.

Egyptians cannot believe that they were humiliated and disrespected just over a match that they didn’t even win.

But Egyptians say they are planning to express their anger but in a civilized way.

Amr samaha: the Algerian ambassador should leave and the Egyptians living in Algeria should be able to return safely without any further abuse to them.

Amr Fahmy: the Egyptian flag should be held high, not stepped on. This disrespect wont be tolerated and an eye for an eye as they started it.

Alaa Mubarak said that the tensions reveal Algeria’s “grudge and ill-will” toward Egypt
